At the Fall 24 show in Los Angeles, CA on December 2nd, 2023, Balenciaga introduces a limited-edition collaboration with the New York City-based high jewellery and watchmaking company Jacob & Co.

The Balenciaga I Jacob & Co. exclusive "haute joaillerie" line called Diamant, is made of 18 carat white gold and diamonds. This is Balenciaga’s first foray into high bijoux.

Four designs are included: a chain theme consisting of a large, thick necklace and a bracelet, and a text-based theme named Typo consisting of a thin necklace and an oversized two-finger ring. These spell out the word Balenciaga in free-form script.

The designs reflect a sentiment of American youth culture and imbue it with a Made in the USA opulence. Diamonds are high quality (VS-F), and each stone is set
by hand.

Demna chose Jacob & Co. as a collaborator because they are not a traditional jeweller. The partnership pushes boundaries, and the result is both innovative and unconventional.

The Diamant line is now available to pre-order at the Balenciaga Couture Store. Each piece is made to order; all hold 3 month production and delivery window.
